Here at Utilita Arena Newcastle, your safety is our priority and we work with a range of partners, including Northumbria Police, to ensure that your visit is safe and enjoyable.

All of our staff, from our highly-trained security team to our customer services representatives play a vital role in keeping visitors safe and furthermore, they're supported by a range of security measures which are in operation around the clock, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

We take the safety and security of all our visitors very seriously. If you're coming to the arena for a show, please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to pass through our security checks and familiarise yourself with our security information below.

In addition to the high visibility security measures in place, we also employ a range of less visibile methods to keep you safe and work with a number of partners who are experts in their field.

You can help to keep us all safe by reporting anything that doesn't feel right. Don't ever be concerned about reporting anything that doesn't feel right, not matter how minor you think it is. Trust your instincts and we will do the rest.

When arriving at the arena there are security checks to pass through to gain access to the building with a valid ticket. We advise to give yourself extra time to pass through venue security checks, especially for comedy acts and sold out shows.

We have partnered with Evolv technology on our security sytem - you can learn more here.
