Tweenies Spectacular New ‘No Sleep Til Bedtime’ Tour is Announced! The fab four Tweenies take to the road again in a multi-Arena UK tour, appearing at the Metro Radio Arena on the 5th & 6th April 2005. Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake will board the band bus, along with a full range of support acts including: Doodles, Izzles, Eddie the Dream Genie and for the first time live on stage, Penelope Pink (The Pop Princess), Captain Cosmos and Jangles the Clown in what will be the ultimate show for the pop fan in their first flush of youth. The state of the art guitar shaped stage with the neck extending like an enormous runway into the crowd will be the centrepiece of the 90 minute show with spectacular lighting and effects. Even the seating in the Arena floors will be specially spaced to allow budding divas in the audience room for any kind of dance routine. The show will feature their chart topping hits, along with new songs, material, dance routines and dazzling costumes. This seems only befitting for a BAFTA winning group who have sold over 1.2 million records and reached No. 5 in the UK charts, as well as appearing on Top of the Pops. As the Tweenies look forward to grabbing their flight cases, picking up their tour itineraries, preparing their riders and taking to the road, it seems that they’ll be no sleep for them until summer time. Metro Radio Arena’s Marketing Director Paul Tappenden said: -”This is the second time the Tweenies have performed here and they got such a great response last time, we are delighted to have them perform here again with their new rock/pop style” Tickets costing from £12.50 are on sale now and are available from all usual outlets.
