Metro Radio Arena is delighted to announce the Demolition Ball on Sunday 26th June 2005. Demolition Records has put together some of the best known names in rock music with the mixed talent of up and coming bands to create an event full of music, entertainment and surprises! 2 stages, 12 bands and with a line up consisting of Sebastian Bach, Hanoi Rock, Y & T, Tigertailz, Electric Eel Shock, plus many more, a full filled event is planned for all. Sebastian Bach Formally of Skidrow, Sebastian Bach has made a name for himself as a solo artist. Playing with100% energy, fire, and total commitment to rock n roll Sebastian Bach can not be faulted at all and with the addition of Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, Painmuseum, Testament) who knows what will happen next! Y & T Formed back in the 1970’s, Y & T captivated legions of fans with their melodic heavy rock and roll which can only be described as timeless. Original members Dave Meniketti, Leonard Haze, Phil Kennemore and John Nymann have sold over 4 million albums, recorded 16 LP’s and have 3 greatest hits collections since their 1974 inception. Y & T were the most requested support band on the touring rock road. Tigertailz Tigertailz formed in 1983 and slogged the UK club circuit learning their trade and refining their musical chemistry till the perfect line-up was achieved. It wasn’t until 1990 that the band took the UK charts by storm with their awesome “Bezerk”cd, which saw the band projected to the forefront of the UK Glam Rock revival. Countless European support tours with US counterparts in the shape of POISON, MOTLEY CRUE and CINDERELLA followed, and eventually took their toll on the band who went their separate ways in late 1994. THE DEMOLITION BALL sees the band return to the limelight with their first ever live show in 10 years. To coincide with the show Sanctuary Records are to release a re-mastered 2005 version of “Bezerk” containing a whole host of unreleased tracks. Tigertailz are; Kim Hooker; Vocals Pepsi Tate; Bass/Backing Vocals Jay Pepper; Guitarist/Backing Vocals Mike Hourihan; Drums/Backing Vocals Electric Eel Shock Originally from Japan but currently living in London Electric Eel Shock have toured relentlessly throughout Europe. At the beginning of 2004 Electric Eel Shock took time out from touring to concentrate on recording the material they had so often played live. The new album Beat Me will be released on Demolition Records on 27th June 2005 and has already received rave reviews from Radio 1. Mantas Jeff Mantas the founder of Black Metal Originators Venom has assembled a band of razor sharp musicians to front his new solo band. Riding high after sell out dates in Germany, Holland and Japan, Mantas continue promoting their “Zero Tolerance” release with a series of Summer Festival dates throughout Europe and the US. Mantas are; Jeff Mantas; Lead Guitar Marsy; Guitar Bri; Vocals Drew; Bass Marthus; Drums So with record sales topping over 23 million and the rest of the line up proving just as strong in the music industry with sets from AntiProduct, Fist, Torsohorse this is one show music fans of all ages will not want to miss.. Tickets costing £25 in advance are available from all usual outlets. Tickets cost £30 on the day of the show.
