The Darkness- this is a no smoking event

EVENT INFORMATION

  • Date: Monday 13th February 2006
  • Doors Open: 7.30pm
  • Pricing: £24.50
Lock up your sons and daughters as The Darkness are set to return to the stage of the Metro Radio Arena Newcastle on Monday 13th February 2006, as part of their arena tour for February 2006. Debuting material from their new album, 'One Way Ticket To Hell ...And Back', the shows will, as always, be so much more than just an ordinary live show. The last time the band performed live was during their winter arena tour of 2004. In typical Darkness fashion, the tour saw them raising hell with some flaming incredible pyrotechnics, with frontman Justin Hawkins taking in the view from a lap of honour astride a life-size white tiger. Every venue on the tour was a complete lock-out with 130,000 tickets sold, including the band playing a three-night run at the home of legends, Wembley Arena. Says Justin: "We are all really looking forward to getting back out there and playing live to our fans. It will be great to air the new album and new bass player, Richie Edwards, as well as some of our older classics."
