EVENT INFORMATION

  • Date: Wednesday 5th April 2006
  • Doors Open: 8pm
  • Pricing: £22.50
Following their successful appearance on the 21st April this year, we are delighted to announce The Australian Pink Floyd show will be returning to the Metro Radio Arena on Wednesday 5th April 2006. Having now established itself around the World, The Australian Pink Floyd Show has become one of the definitive concerts for live music audiences, with Floyd fans of all ages embracing this spectacular two and a half hour show. The show’s ultimate endorsement is that David Gilmour, Pink Floyd’s guitarist, is a fan himself. And now with former Pink Floyd sound engineer Colin Norfield at the mixing desk, and a number of other original Pink Floyd crew members working behind the scenes, TAPFS provides the perfect embodiment of the Pink Floyd live experience. This is as close as fans will ever get to the magnificent opulence of Pink Floyd live. It’s a tantalising voyage, from the trippy Barrett era to the mystery of ‘Dark Side of the Moon’, from the majesty of ‘Wish you were here’, to the twisted intensity of ‘Animals’, from the relentless power of ‘The Wall’, through to the lush grandeur of ‘The Final Cut’ and ‘The Division Bell’. Metro Radio Arena Marketing Director Paul Tappenden said :- “This is a stunning visual show which lets you experience the momentum of Pink Floyd live”.
