LIVE IN CONCERT ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN Performed by Gary Mullen & The Works. Due to popular demand One Night of Queen Performed by Gary Mullen and The Works will be returning to the Metro Radio Arena on Saturday 9th December ’06 for one night only. Since winning the 'Stars in their Eyes' Grand Final 2000, polling nearly one million votes, Gary Mullen has carved out an excellent live career for himself as the legendary Freddie Mercury. His performance is so astonishing and accurate that Brian May himself has written that Gary bears a remarkable likeness to Freddie in both voice and appearance on stage. Gary presents the real live QUEEN experience - the sound and the look, combined with the showmanship, pomp, style and incredible musicianship that were the hallmarks of QUEEN in concert. The show features Gary backed by his superb four piece band - THE WORKS - hand picked to emulate Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. During the 70’s and 80’s Queen were one of the most popular bands around in the UK and America and gradually had become legends in the rock world. In this amazing concert you will hear all of your favourite classic Queen songs such as ‘Somebody to Love’, ‘I Want to Break Free’, ‘We Are the Champions’, ‘Another one bites the dust’ and the spectacular ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Metro Radio Arena's Marketing Director Paul Tappenden said: "The success of the 2004 & 2005 concerts and the continuing popularity of Queen’s music has brought the show back to the Arena for a third year running. Don’t miss this concert, it is a truly awesome evening out for all Queen fans”. Tickets costing £18.50
