Come and watch Newcastle United, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Leeds United compete for the title of Northern Masters Champions at the Metro Radio Arena on Sunday 12th June 2005. The Masters football features skilful, attacking football played by true heroes of the game and gives fans the opportunity to meet the players for photographs and autographs. These three hours of affordable fun for all the family are the only major football you can see this summer. Newcastle are seeking revenge as Middlesbrough took the title last year and are sure to field a star-studded squad packed with internationals including players such as Peter Beardsley, Ruel Fox, John Beresford, Rob Lee, Garry Kelly, Brian Kilcline and Kevin Scott. See them compete against true giants of Masters Football like Bernie Slaven, Dean Windass, Niall Quinn, John Hendrie and Marco Gabbiadini. Bragging rights are at stake and rivalries are set to soar as Masters Football returns to Newcastle featuring event more legends of the game. Last years event saw 31 goals scored – that’s over 4 goals per game! So be part of the team ad come ad support your team on June 12th as they bid to become Northern Masters Champions! This event does not clash with any other fixture and is sure to be very popular so patrons are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
