Maroon 5 plus special guests Dashboard Confessional
Thursday 29th November 2007
- Doors Open:
Grammy winners Maroon 5 are making a much anticiapted come back in the UK after a 4 year break, the Metro Radio Arena are proud to announce the awesome quintet will be appearing on Thursday 29th November 2007.
The LA soul rockers have been working hard constantly touring since the release of their first album in mid-2002 performing live shows alongside some of their heros The Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder.
The much-anticipated second album, ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long’, the follow-up to the ten million selling 'Songs About Jane', sold over 430,000 copies and broke iTunes sales records in its first week of release selling over 101,000 albums. The first single to be released 'Makes Me Wonder' captures all of the elements that create a universally appealing pop rock song, from a bass heavy intro to an infectiously catchy melody that soon belies the sentiment “Give me something to believe in because I don’t believe in you anymore”.
Listeners can expect this sophomore outing to be “sexier,” “stronger” and even “lyrically darker” than Jane, according to vocalist/guitarist Adam Levine, who affirms that “it’s rooted in what we’ve always been, which is different.”
Eager to get back on the road with their new material, Bass guitarist Mickey said “All our energy is focused on our live show and the anticipation of being back on the road. See ya there, suckersssss”
Support confirmed as Dashboard Confessional.
Tickets go on sale Friday 8th June 2007.
