JUDAS PRIEST One of the most influential heavy metal bands of the 70’s, Judas Priest will be playing the Metro Radio Arena on Sunday 27th March 2005. Decked out in leather and chains, Judas spearheaded the new wave of British Heavy Metal late in 1970’s. By 1980’s they were a top concert attraction around the world in addition to being a best-selling recording artist. They have sold over 20 millions albums including Rocka Rolla, Sin after Sin, Hell Bent for Leather Unleashed in the East and British Steel which launched hit singles “Breaking the Law” and “Living After Midnight”. Screaming for Vengeance featuring “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” marked the height of their popularity. Metro Radio Arena’s Marketing Director Paul Tappenden said: -“This announcement follows the successful revival of other big rock acts from the 70’s at the Arena, including recent shows by Deep Purple and The Damned” Tickets costing £29.50 go on sale 9am Friday 3rd December ‘04 and are available from all usual outlets.
