Metro Radio Arena is delighted to announce the return of the legendary Deep Purple on Saturday 21st April 2007.
Deep Purple have been stars since 1968 starting out as a band named ‘Roundabout’. Since then they have survived an endless series of line-up changes and a dramatic mid-career shift from grandiose progressive rock to ear-shattering heavy metal.
Songs such as; ‘Black Night’, ‘Mistreated’ and ‘Space Truckin’ got them into the Guinness book of records as the world’s loudest band and with other rocking songs of theirs including the brilliant cover of Neil Diamonds ‘Kentucky Woman’, ‘Highway Star’, ‘Woman form Tokyo’, ‘Never Before’, ‘Fireball’, ‘Smoke on the Water’ and ‘Hush’, Deep Purple have built a massive fan base around the world
