Congratulations to Hayley Tamaddon, who was crowned champion of Dancing on Ice 2010! Champion Tamaddon and runner up Lucy will now travel the length and breadth of the country as part of the Dancing On Ice Tour performing some of their most memorable performances, along with a fantastic line up of contestants including; Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, 2Point4 Children actress Clare Buckfield, Coronation Street's Gaynor Faye, ex-Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain, Boyzone's Mikey Graham, and X factor star Ray Quinn. Skating legends Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean have revealed that they are close to selling the millionth ticket since the live arena show began in 2007. To celebrate the occasion and as a special treat to fans, the person who buys the millionth ticket will have the once in a lifetime chance to skate with the legendary ice duo who were catapulted to instant fame following their flawless Bolero performance at the 1984 Olympics. The lucky buyer will get to spend one hour on the ice with the Olympic gold medalists Torvill & Dean. The lesson will be suitable for those with any level of ice skating from complete novice to professional. TV personality and one time 'King of the Jungle,' Christopher Biggins is to join the Dancing on Ice Tour judging panel. He will be joined by another new addition, Kyran Bracken, who was crowned ice dancing champion in the 2007 ITV1 series. Speaking about joining the Dancing On Ice Tour, Biggins said, ""I am thrilled to be on the judging panel of Dancing On Ice Tour this year. I'm very much looking forward to joining the celebrity skaters and their partners in all their sparkling refinery, as we take this favourite show of mine on the road to arena audiences all over the UK." The format of the tour is the same as previous years and as in the hit ITV1 show, the audience will be able to use their mobile phone to text vote for their favourite dancing couple. The votes will then be added to the scores from the Judges to decide the winner. Once the votes have been counted, the winning celebrity will join their skating partner to perform a magical finale. As with the previous tours, all profits from text voting will go to charity; more than £80,000 has been raised to date. The professional skaters on the Dancing on Ice Tour this year are Fred Palascak dancing with Emily Atack; Lukasz Rozycki dancing with Clare Buckfield; Matt Evers dancing with Gaynor Faye; Brianne Delacourt dancing with Chris Fountain; Melanie Lambert dancing with Mikey Graham; Maria Filipov dancing with Gary Lucy; Dan Whiston dancing with Hayley Tamaddon and Alexandra Schauman dancing with Ray Quinn. We are delighted to announce a real treat for all Dancing on Ice fans as the incredible Torvill & Dean confirm they will be performing their spectacular flying bolero routine live for North East audiences. The breathtaking adaptation of the renowned bolero was first performed during the nail biting final on Sunday evening, and now fans have the opportunity to relive the magic live. * Please note all performances are subject to both skaters being fit to perform With additional seats released across all Newcastle dates tickets are available now.
