Bryan Adams: Reckless 30th Anniversary Tour

Live Nation are delighted to announce that rock superstar Bryan Adams, will be plugging in once again and hitting the road with a full band this November to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the multi-million selling album, ‘Reckless’. Returning to the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle on Sunday 16th November 2014 Paul Tappenden General Manager for the venue said “We are delighted to welcome Bryan back to the North East his shows are second to none and looking back at the iconic ‘Reckless’ album guarantees another electrifying performance”
This will be the first time Bryan has done a full headline tour of the UK since 2011. He will be performing a set that will honour not only the 30th Anniversary of 'Reckless’ – a deluxe version of which will be released via UMC/Polydor on September 8th featuring exclusive expanded bonus material – but also his endless catalogue of anthemic hits.
Since its release in 1984, ‘Reckless’ has gone three times Platinum in the UK alone. It spawned huge hits such as "Run to You", "Kids Wanna Rock", “Somebody", "Summer of '69", “One Night Love Affair" and "It's Only Love" a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. 'Reckless' also gave Bryan is first U.S. #1 on Billboard with "Heaven" as well as a Diamond Award for over a million sold in his home country of Canada. The album was the turning point in Adams' career, as his music opened up new country's, resulting in his hugely successful World Wide in '85 Tour.
As Canada's best known ambassador, Bryan Adams has spent the last three decades making music history. He has sold upward of 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved #1 status in over 40 countries around the world. He has been awarded the Order of Canada, has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has a Star on Canada's Walk of Fame. Adams has been been nominated for, and won several Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Grammy's, has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into Wembley's Square of Fame.
