Following a sporting Olympic break, football is back with a bang! After an exhilarating finale to last season’s premier league, the new season is already hotting up! And to celebrate in style Soccer Saturday’s main man Jeff Stelling is to hit the road flanked by his far from flat back four Matt Le Tissier, Paul Merson, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas plus cult favourite Chris Kamara for a fun filled tour of hilarious football stories!

Following a sell-out show in Bournemouth hailed by Harry Redknapp as “The best night out for any football fan”  Jeff and the boys continue their UK arena tour including the Metro Radio Arena Newcastle on Thursday 1st November 2012.

Plans for the tour include the world’s biggest ever head to head football quiz, exciting and electrifying Q & A sessions, live and interactive games and activities, and hilarious panel debates. Footie fans can join Jeff, Kammy, Charlie, Thommo, Merse and Le Tiss as they entertain with football stories past and present. Audience members can also ask the panel anything they like from the world of football from new transfers and signings to premier league predictions and everything else in between. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the world’s biggest ever football quiz anchored by Jeff Stelling. There will also be buzzer rounds with audience members will be invited on stage to help the pundits. Brave attendees can even try to catch Jeff out with obscure facts and figures.  An Evening with Jeff Stelling is a unique opportunity for fans to become directly involved in the arena show!

Drunken nights, living with Gazza from Paul Merson, Bill Shankly’s famous insults told by Phil Thompson, playing in the Glasgow derby from the perspective of Charlie Nicholas and tales of running the gauntlet at Fratton Park and run-ins with referees from Matt le Tissier are some of the highlights from an evening of hilarious and insightful football anecdotes.
The event is quite simply the best night out any football fan can have. In a hilarious and engaging roller-coaster ride of an evening, the panel will reveal personal anecdotes from their footballing and TV careers, from the ultimate highs to the crucifying lows and everything in between. Brimming with anecdotes and rare football footage, the evening with will give a frank and rare insight into the crazy world of football. The last word of the night will always go to Paul Merson who will delight with a jaw-dropping anecdote of how NOT to manage a football club. And if you’ve never seen Chris Kamara sing you may be in for a treat!
