Alice Cooper with Special Guests Motorhead plus Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Friday 9th November 2007
- Doors Open:
The Metro Radio Arena is proud to announce that Alice Cooper and special guests Motorhead will be playing on Friday 9th November 2007.
Alice Cooper found success in the early 70’s with their breakthrough single ‘School’s Out’. The release of ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ set the group at the top of the charts. Add to this their spectacular concerts, and the group were at the height of their popularity.
In 1973, however, the group and the lead singer Vincent Damon Furnier split and after changing his name to that of the group, Alice Cooper, he went on to release top ten hits such as ‘Trash’ and ‘Poison’. He has also worked with artists Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and most of Aerosmith and starred in horror films.
Starring on tour with Alice Cooper will be Motorhead. Motorhead’s overwhelmingly loud and fast style of heavy metal was one of the most groundbreaking styles the genre had to offer in the late ‘70s.
