Emilia Mitiku announced as special guest - Click here to read interview with Evening Chronicle

Alfie Boe starts his biggest UK tour to date next month and just announced to join the tour as special guest is the acclaimed Emilia Mitiku.

Emilia Mitiku is already earning praise for her upcoming album ‘I Belong To You’ which explores her life of classic jazz and soul. The album and the new single ‘You’re Not Right For Me’ – currently Record of the Week at Radio 2 is out now. On joining the tour Emilia said:

“I’m delighted to be joining the incredible Alfie Boe on his massive Storyteller Tour across March & April. To be a special guest of one of the UK's most loved male singers is a real honour for me and it’s such an exciting opportunity to share my new 'vintage pop' album across arenas and iconic UK venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall. I really hope we can make a wonderful evening of music for you to enjoy"

For Alfie, his career has been nothing short of incredible.  ‘The Nation’s Tenor’ has not only sold out a 23 date UK tour of Britain’s finest concert halls last year, he’s sold over 750,000 copies of his albums ‘Bring Him Home’ and ‘Alfie’, whilst also fitting in a critically acclaimed West End run as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables.  His latest album ‘Storyteller’ is out now and has already received acclaim by critics and fans alike.

Alfie also released an autobiography “My Story”, a live DVD of his ‘Bring Him Home’ tour, he performed at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert watched by nearly 17million viewers and completed a sell-out US tour.

The Storyteller UK tour sees Alfie performing at the likes of the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle on Thursday 28th March 2013 and the celebrated London Royal Albert Hall plus two home town shows at Blackpool Opera House.

Alfie said:  “I’m so excited to follow up the Bring Him Home Tour which was one of the highlights of my career so far. To be performing in arenas is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get back on the road and see all my fans again in 2013.”
